17-4PH is a precipitation hardening steel material with high strength, high hardness, good welding performance and corrosion resistance. It has been widely used in valves, shafts and chemical fiber industries, and high-strength parts with certain corrosion resistance requirements.
17-4PH is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium/columb, with low carbon content, better corrosion resistance and weldability than general martensitic stainless steel, similar to 18-8 stainless steel, heat treatment process Simple and good machinability, but it is difficult to satisfy cryogenic processing.
Features: Precipitation hardening steel with copper added. Used in the manufacture of shafts and steam turbine parts.
