Inconel 718 alloy (UNS N07718/W.Nr.2.4668) is a high-strength corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium material used between -423° and 1300°F. Typical restricted ingredients are shown in Table 1.
The age-hardening alloy can be easily processed and manufactured even for complex parts. Its welding performance, especially the resistance to cracking after welding is very good.
INCONEL718 relies on its convenient and economical processability coupled with its good tensile, fatigue, creep and cracking strength, so that Inconel 718 alloy can be used in a wide range of applications. For example: rings and sleeves in liquid fuel rockets, airplanes and land-based gas turbines, as well as various forms of sheet metal parts and cryogenic storage tanks. Overview of Inconel Alloy 718 Round Bars:
Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy containing tungsten. It has a very low silicon-carbon content and is considered a universal anti-corrosion alloy.
Hastelloy C-276 has the following characteristics: ①It has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. ②It has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion. The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and the tungsten element further improves the corrosion resistance. At the same time, Hastelloy C-276 is one of the only materials resistant to corrosion by moist chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions. Significant corrosion resistance. It is suitable for sulfuric acid solutions of various concentrations and is one of the few materials that can be applied to hot concentrated sulfuric acid solutions.
