253MA is a heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel designed for applications requiring high creep strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Its use temperature scale is 850~1100 ℃.
The chemical composition of 253MA is balanced, which makes the steel have the most suitable induction function in the temperature range of 850℃-1100℃, extremely high oxidation resistance, and the temperature of oxide scale is as high as 1150℃; extremely high resistance to creep deformation Capability and creep rupture strength; in most gaseous media, it has excellent resistance to high temperature corrosion and balance brush corrosion; high yield strength and tensile strength at high temperatures; outstanding formability and weldability , And meet the machinability.
In addition to the alloying elements chromium and nickel, 253MA stainless steel is also rich in a few rare earth metals, and then its oxidation resistance is significantly improved. Nitrogen is added to improve the creep function and make this steel completely austenite. Although the content of chromium and nickel is relatively low, this stainless steel has the same high temperature characteristics as highly alloyed alloy steels and nickel-based alloys in many cases.
Use scale:
253MA is widely used in sintering equipment, blast furnace equipment, steel melting, melting furnace and continuous casting equipment, rolling mill (heating furnace), heat treatment furnace and accessories, mineral deposit equipment and cement production equipment, etc. 253MA steel can be used in pressure-bearing occasions up to 900 ℃ and non-pressure-bearing high-temperature parts with working temperature up to 1150 ℃.
